This marble sculpture was entered in the 2013 competition for ‘Best Buddha Sculpture of the Year’ at Worcester’s Boundless Way Zen Buddhist Temple in the city’s Westside. It won a prize and was displayed there; it then went on to be purchased by a collector in town. To give the sculpture due respect and to protect its powers, the piece is set upon a pedestal, so as not to let it directly touch the ground.
