Miguel earns spare cash by embroidering images from nature from his memories of Honduras.  He adds these embroidered designs to either Aida cloth or burlap, to make inserts for greeting cards, sold through RAW.  He is still in school. He likes flower designs especially but also animals. This creature is a white-tailed deer, a national symbol in Honduras. Miguel also prefers to use one specific stitch, one that offers an extended linear pattern, as shown here in the deer’s body.
